The kitchen and dining table are where the house naturally comes together. There is room to cook, sit, talk and let breakfast turn into the start of the day without everyone having to move at once.

The practical things are here too. A high chair, washer and dryer make longer stays easier, while two bedrooms open directly onto the deck and the grass when somebody wants a little air or a quieter start to the morning.

This is a house for being together, but it never asks all ten of you to do the same thing at the same time.

Tan leather sofas, a patterned rug and low black tables in the tall living room

Birch and spruce stand close around the house, with geothermal water running below it. The trees are not a backdrop here. They are what you wake up to, what you see from the deck and what changes the mood of the house with the season.

Summer is green and bright deep into the evening, so the deck becomes part of the living space. Winter quiets everything down, with snow between the trees and darker evenings outside the glass.

On clear nights from late August to late April, the northern lights can appear above the house. When they do, the hot tub and the deck give you somewhere to stay outside and keep watching.

A place to gather

A double-height living room fills the heart of the villa with light and a sense of space.

Cook together, enjoy dinner around the table, then settle into the living room as the evening slows down.

Timber steps and exposed concrete connect the spaces.

The sleeping layout gives a larger group real flexibility. There are two double bedrooms, a twin room and a bunk room, with two bathrooms shared between them.

Two of the bedrooms open straight outdoors, one onto the deck and one onto the grass. The bunk room looks into the trees, while the freestanding bath sits beneath a skylight at the quieter end of the house.

Dogs are welcome too, so the whole household can come along.

Where everybody sleeps

BEDROOM ONE

A peaceful twin room among the trees

Two single beds sit beneath a woven pendant, surrounded by pale timber and soft natural light. A small window between the beds looks straight into the woodland, making this one of the quietest rooms in the house.

BEDROOM TWO

A double room opening onto the deck

Dark plaster and warm timber give this room a calm, understated feel. A full-height glazed door opens directly onto the deck, while the round window beside the bed frames a view towards the barrel sauna.

BEDROOM THREE

A cosy bunk room tucked away from the main space

Set behind a sliding timber door, the bunk room is designed as a comfortable retreat of its own. Pale timber, white-framed bunks and a woodland-facing window keep the room bright and relaxed.

AND TWO BATHROOMS

Space for slower mornings

Two full bathrooms make the villa easy to share, even with a full house. The larger bathroom has a freestanding bath beneath the skylight, bringing natural light into a calm space made for unwinding.

The black barrel sauna sits on the deck, with the private geothermal hot tub only a few steps away.

Start in the heat, step outside into the cool air, then settle into the water. It is a simple way to let the evening stretch out without needing to go anywhere else.

In winter, darkness arrives in the afternoon and the night feels long. In summer, it barely gets dark at all. Around June, the sun sets shortly after midnight and is back a few hours later. Either way, the deck is where you will want to be.
