The Glass House has one bedroom with a double bed beneath the glass roof, a kitchen, a sitting area and one bathroom. A sofa bed makes room for up to four, but it is at its best as a place for two.
Start in the barrel sauna, cool off in the fresh air and move to the hot tub. In winter the sky is dark by late afternoon, so the evening is long. In June the sun sets just after midnight and rises again before three, and the skylight lets you watch the sky change without getting up.
Reykjavík city centre is 22 minutes away by car, so dinner in town and a late soak at the house fit into the same evening. Sky Lagoon is 22 minutes from the house as well.
